Some Agatised Fossil Coral can be heated to enhance the
color and contrast of the fossil pattern.

Success in heating is dependant on mineral content,
oven temperature, duration and luck.....

Our slabs are heated in traditional brick kilns

Specimens are weighed, photographed and catalogued.  

Buyers often select from digital images.
Prior to shipping, specimens are carefully wrapped
in foam then sewn in heavy burlap and packed in
cardboard or custom made wooden boxes..

A-Grade rough and specimens are packed and
shipped in 1 ton wooden crates.

Shipping by the container is the cheapest transport.  
Crates are built on pallets for easy offloading..

Except when the customer does not have a fork lift...
